The Whitegates Lodge No 10424 has now amalgamated with the Crown Lodge and now meets at the Miners Institute Llay on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at 20.00.
THE WHITEGATES LODGE No 10424 - A SHORT HISTORY The Whitegates Lodge is named after the Historic Gates of Leeswood which it is said never opened because of non-payment to their manufacturer. The Lodge was opened on 2nd September 1986 at the Lion Inn Leeswood which was the original home of the Black Diamond Lodge. This was the first lodge to be opened under the control of the Wrexham & District Province. The Lodge has now had to amalgamate with the Crown Lodge and now meets at the Miners Institute Llay.
