BERWYN LODGE No 9999 A SHORT HISTORY
The Berwyn Lodge was established from the Llyn Tegid Lodge which had it's meeting at the Goat Hotel in Bala. The Lodge was part of the Cambrian Province and it was felt by the members that it was a long way to travel to Harlech or Barmouth to attend PGL a round trip of over 100 miles.
On 25th May 1975 the Berwyn Lodge No 9999 was opened by the then Provincial Grand Primo Bro Gordon Valentine ROH in the Owain Glyndwr Hotel Corwen.
It has had a few homes including the Central Hotel Corwen before moving back to the Owain Glyndwr Hotel in 2007 when the Central Hotel closed.
