ANOTHER NEW KNIGHT FOR BERWYN

14th August 2009 saw another new Knight raised in the Berwyn Lodge. Bro Bob Bowler, Deputy Provincial Grand Primo was Installed at the Ceremony carried out by the Grand Treasurer of the Grand Lodge of England Bro Norman York ROH. As usual an excellent Ceremony was carried out by Bro Norman witnessed by about 80 Brothers from all over the country including several Grand Lodge Officers. Congratulations Knight Sir Bob and see you at Knight's Chapter.

BERWYN LODGE MAKE DONATION TO LOCAL PLAY GROUP.

LODGE DINNER & PGPs' PRESENTATION NIGHT 22nd MAY 2009

A request was received from Ruthin Presbyterian Play Group for funds to help with the running of the Play Group. The Berwyn Lodge donated £50 towards this worthwhile cause. The Photograph shows Bro Geraint Davies CP presenting the cheque to Carey Kearns. Also pictured are Jake Gresty and Sion Davies-Robson (right) Bro Geraint's son who attends the Play Group.

The Berwyn Lodge held their Annual Lodge Dinner on 22nd May 2009 at the Owain Glyndwr Hotel Corwen. It was well attended by the Brothers of the Lodge and their wives and partners. At the evening the Provincial Grand Primos' of 2007 and 2008 made their cheque presentations to their relevant charities. Bro Tony PGP 2007 presented his cheque to the Chairman of the Riding for the Disabled Llanfynydd Mrs Jill Walton on the evening. Representatives of the Children's Ward Wrexham Maelor Hospital were unable to attend. Bro Keiran PGP 2008 presented his cheque to S/N Helen Griffiths and S/N Lissa Thomass from the Sleep Apnoea Clinic Wrexham Maelor Hospital. A very enjyable evening was had by all who attended from other Lodges from Chirk and a very welcome guest Tracey Saunders from Gosport whose late husband was a member of the Lodge.
